The Autódromo Oscar y Juan Gálvez is one of Argentina’s most important circuits, located close to the centre of the Argentine capital, Buenos Aires.

The circuit opened in 1952, having been pushed by then-president Juan Perón, and hosted Formula 1 on 20 occasions between 1953 and 1998. The circuit is named after brothers Juan Gálvez (died 1963) and Oscar Gálvez (died 1989), who were star names in the national Turismo Carretera scene.

Numerous permutations of the circuit are possible, although in touring car terms the No. 8 circuit has been more popular for regional and international events.

Whilst the facilities have become dated in recent decades, the circuit remains a mainstay on the national Súper TC2000 calendar.
